When I was researching the art of Haiku for my YouTube Livestream, I came across this haiku (on Reedsy) by the American novelist Jack Kerouac, called "The Taste of Rain":
The taste
of rain
- Why kneel?
It states so simply something I believe Transcendentalists hold true.
Inspired, I wanted to write something that encapsulates my beliefs. Here it is:
Quantum vibrations
the basis of Everything
tangible and not
